The Strokes have shared the video for their recent EP track 'Threat Of You'.
The song in question features on the band's latest EP 'Future Present Past', which was released in May.
The surreal and self-referential clip makes reference to the band's blocked attempt to make a politicised video for their track 'OBLIVIUS'.
The 'Threat Of You' video is set in the video shoot for that clip, with a group of mask-wearing suits attempting to steal the footage. Watch beneath.
Julian Casablancas had previously claimed that The Strokes were forced to can a music video for 'OBLIVIUS' because of its political content.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show, Casablancas said: “Well we were going to do 'OBLIVIUS’ first and we had all this kind of super heavy political content and then it kinda of through different indirect corridors got shutdown".
Meanwhile, Casablancas stars in the video for Blood Orange’s new song ‘Augustine’.
